Their training will be fundamental with different subjects: tutorial teaching of specific movements and exercises for each children specifically, professional support on their place of residence by three meetings a week, and direct and personalised contact with professionals for indications depending on surgical procedure and evolution.
Parents should overcome initial anguish. They should understand and trust that this is a problem with possible solution, and above all, make contact with surgical team to understand type and significance of the injury.
The goal is to have all the information at three months of age, being concerned but with confidence in the problem resolution.
In the specific cases with no spontaneous resolution of the paralysis, microsurgical reconstruction is the only option to guarantee the recovery and functionality of the upper limb.
